• Brain Tumors: Our team performs precise surgical removal of both benign and malignant brain tumors. We aim to eliminate the tumor while preserving as much neurological function as possible, thereby enhancing the child’s quality of life. This includes complex surgeries that require detailed planning and execution to minimize risks and maximize outcomes.
• Spina Bifida: This condition involves a defect in the spinal column that can lead to significant complications. Our approach includes surgical closure of the defect and management of associated issues like hydrocephalus (accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid) and tethered cord syndrome. This comprehensive treatment helps prevent further neurological damage and supports optimal development.
• Hydrocephalus: Hydrocephalus is characterized by an excess of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain, which can increase intracranial pressure. We manage this condition through procedures such as shunt placement or endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV).
